Are your kids already driving you crazy with talks of Santa, Rudolf and Frosty? Time to get out of the house!

Check out Shenkman Arts Centre on Saturday, November 25 for an enchanting performance and pizza dinner. What could be more fun with your little cherubs?

Do you love to read Sam McBratney and Anita Jeram’s Guess How Much I Love You & I Love My Little Storybook? Now you can see your favourites come to life!

Brought to life by the Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia, the company combines beautiful sets and skilled puppetry making these loved bunnies seem real.

“Our intention in making this play is quite simple – to recreate the magic and charm of these two stories as the characters emerge from the pages of the book, hop around trees, over fences and hills and into the child’s imagination. For children and their parents, it will appear as if the stories are actually coming to life,” Says Jim Morrow, Artistic Director of Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia says in a director’s message.

When audiences leave the theatre feeling all warm and fuzzy, Shenkman Arts Centre is there to extend the family experience by offering a pizza dinner after the show. Yes, that right, you don’t have to cook for the night either!

At 5 p.m. there will be a slice of pizza, salad, cupcake and drink waiting for you for just $5. Nibble on this while listening to DJ JOG spin some festive tunes (there had to be some Christmas in there).

Furry friends, food, and family time! We love it.

Guess How Much I Love You & I Love My Little Storybook will be at Shenkman Arts Centre on November 25, at 4 p.m.
