Barrhaven Lonestar is open Monday, November 20

After months of careful planning, Lonestar Barrhaven is ready to open their doors! Lonestar is ready to start serving their mouth-watering fajitas and con queso on Monday, November 20!

I had a great chat with Nashville, the Digital Marketing Manager, and she told me all about how Lonestar sets up a new restaurant.

Fun facts about this launch:

• They hired 150 new people!!
• Trainers come in from across Ontario to get the team ramped up
• The entire Lonestar crew comes to a new launch! This includes the CEO, VPs, tons of managers…and they stay until they get everything right
• They do A LOT of staff training
• They have a food show. This is where the staff samples all the different dishes, so they know what everything on the menu tastes like
• They have several rounds of sample dinners. Servers take turns “visiting the restaurant”, being seated, ordering off the menu and being served.

The new Lonestar Barrhaven location can be found at 4275 Strandherd Drive (near the Costco), introduces an innovative look and feel for the brand, featuring contemporary styling, while embracing classic Texas.

The new look includes distressed wood, oversized windows, a large horseshoe-shaped bar and exposed brick walls, complete with bold Austin-style murals. The covered and heated outdoor patio, complete with a towering fireplace, is perfect for summer and beyond. Large, inviting booths and seating make the restaurant perfect for groups, big and small to join together over legendary food and drinks.
