Amy Maan

Amy is the owner of 123 Petits Pas, a new business in Ottawa that provides parents and their infants & toddlers with French programs throughout Ottawa. During Amy’s maternity leave, she participated in all things “Mommy and Me”, but had difficulty finding activities that would help introduce French as a second language to her infant son. As a certified French immersion teacher, she knew that language introduction at an early age was important, and so, after receiving encouraging feedback from Ottawa’s parent community, she decided to start her own “Mommy/Daddy & Me French Program”. Her programs are geared toward parents who hope to raise bilingual children, no matter what level of French knowledge they have themselves. Amy is a certified French immersion teacher in the Ottawa area with an educational background in theatre & French as a second language. Her French programs are set to start up in February 2018, with registration beginning in December 2017.
