Ladies and gents, get your cowboy hats at the ready, kick up your boots, and prepare to dance the night away to the sounds of some of Canada’s country favourites. Gord Bamford is in town!
On January 25, find a babysitter and take your partner by the hand for a country style date night at Centrepointe Theatres (we highly recommend going somewhere for ribs before hand… just saying, it’s a good excuse!).
The Juno nominated artist, and 24-time Canadian Country Music Association Awards is touring with music from his new album, Neon Smoke and is an act not to be missed. A guy that is country through and through, born in Australia, he moved to his mother’s native town of Lacombe, Alberta, at the age of five and put down his Canadian country roots. Now we get to enjoy him here in the city.
As if Bamford wasn’t enough for county fans, breakout artist Aaron Goodvin will be joining him as the opening act. Goodvin is proving to be a country powerhouse in his own right with his debut single, “Knock On Wood,” being a Top 40 hit at Country radio in Canada.
Tickets can be purchased at www.centrepointetheatre.com or by calling the box office at 613‐580‐2700.
To get you in the mood here is his video with one of our other Canadian favourites, Jim Cuddy, performing Ain’t it Grand.
